Service Description

Men’s health remains an under-recognised yet increasingly important area of clinical practice. Men are often reluctant to seek medical help, frequently presenting later with more advanced disease. At the same time, the prevalence of men’s health conditions is rising, many of which significantly impact physical function, psychological wellbeing, relationships and quality of life. This CPD course is designed to support clinicians working across primary and secondary care to confidently recognise, investigate and manage common and serious men’s health presentations. - Practical, guideline-led approach to common men’s health conditions across primary and secondary care. - Assessment and management of key presentations including erectile dysfunction, LUTS, testicular abnormalities and genital dermatology. - Emergency care concerning men's health - UTI, testicular presentations and penile abnormalities - Primary care management and referral principles for male fertility concerns, prostate cancer and male pattern hair loss. - Case-based learning with clear investigation pathways and treatment strategies relevant to everyday clinical practice.
