Prescribing is a heavy responsibility. It requires clear justification, precise justification and an understanding of potential risks. This course is designed to refresh and update your knowledge on safe and effective prescribing within the NHS, supporting you to maintain best practice and meet professional standards. We will cover: - Prescribing principles and recent NHS and NICE updates - A review of high-risk medications e.g. insulin, opioids, anticoagulants, methotrxate and more - Prescribing scenarios including drug-seeking behaviour - Drug monitoring and ongoing responsibility - A review of national reporting systems As part of this course you will receive: - 3 externally accredited CPD points - Recorded access for 90 days.
