Community Pharmacy
Training, Governance & Execution of NHS & Private Services
Community pharmacy is rapidly evolving from a traditional dispensing model towards a greater role in clinical assessment, treatment and ongoing patient care. At Pareto Education, we help pharmacy teams turn these opportunities into safe, effective clinical services through practical training, competency development and ongoing governance support. Whether developing an NHS-commissioned service or expanding a private clinical offering, our focus is on giving pharmacists the skills, confidence and framework to deliver it effectively. A list of our key services can be found below
Pharmacy First & Minor Illness
Practical training covering the core Pharmacy First conditions and proposed expansion into areas including conjunctivitis, skin conditions and lower respiratory tract infections. We focus on consultation, examination, treatment, red flags and appropriate escalation, with refresher training available to support ongoing competence and governance.
Blood Testing & Interpretation
We train pharmacists to confidently select, perform and interpret blood tests, provide meaningful advice to patients and recognise when further clinical assessment is required. Our training can be supported by a six-month clinical supervision and governance programme, helping pharmacy teams demonstrate competence and safely embed the service into practice.

Weight Management
Training for pharmacists delivering private weight management services, covering patient assessment, treatment selection, prescribing, monitoring, side-effect management and escalation. We also provide clinical updates and refresher training to keep pharmacy teams up to date as treatments and national guidance evolve.
