This website provides continuing professional development (CPD) resources, clinical teaching materials, webinars, course information, and related editorial content for healthcare professionals and students. The content is educational and informational. It is not a substitute for clinical judgement, professional assessment, or local clinical guidelines.
Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice, a clinical recommendation, or a diagnosis. Always apply your own professional judgement and follow your employer's protocols and current national guidance when making clinical decisions. Pareto Education does not accept liability for clinical decisions made on the basis of educational content alone.
You create an account by signing in with Google and completing a short profile. You must give accurate details, keep your account to yourself, and use a personal or work email address: university email addresses are not accepted. Your name is printed on the certificates we issue, so please make sure it is correct. We may suspend an account that is shared, used to misuse the service, or set up with false details.
Prices are shown in pounds sterling at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe and your booking or purchase is confirmed once payment succeeds. Live webinars are hosted on Microsoft Teams; the join link appears in your member area and in your confirmation. Slides and handouts are released after a session, using the handout code given during it. A completion or attendance certificate is included free with a paid webinar. For a free webinar, a certificate is available for a fee of £2.99. On-demand courses issue a certificate when you complete them, as described on the course page.
If we cancel or materially change a session we will tell you and offer a place on another date or a refund. Your statutory rights as a consumer, including any right to cancel, are not affected by these terms. To ask about a refund or a problem with a booking, email bookings@paretoeducation.co.uk.
Certificates record your attendance or completion. CPD hours or points are stated only where an event is marked as externally accredited. You remain responsible for deciding whether an activity counts towards your own revalidation, appraisal or regulator requirements. The appraisal pack and CPD files tools help you organise your own records and are not an assessment of them.
You keep ownership of files and notes you upload to your CPD files. You give us permission to store them and show them back to you, and to include them in an appraisal pack you generate. Do not upload patient-identifiable information or anything you do not have the right to share. Discussion posts must be respectful and professional, and we may remove content that is not.
Some pages link to or embed services run by others, such as Stripe, Microsoft Teams, Substack and YouTube. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and Pareto Education is not responsible for their content, availability or practices.
The Pareto Education name, logo, course materials, articles, videos, illustrations, and other content on this site are owned by PARETO REVISION LTD or used with permission. You may view the website and its pages through a normal web browser for your own personal, non-commercial CPD learning. Webinar slides, handouts, e-books and course materials you buy or are given access to are licensed to you personally and must not be shared or resold. You may download a file only where that file is expressly made available for download on a page, and only subject to any purchase, licence, or access terms that apply to it and to any rights of third parties. You may not copy, redistribute, reproduce, or commercially exploit site content, course materials, videos, or other works without written permission from Pareto Education.
You agree not to misuse the website, including not to: attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or data; introduce malware or harmful code; share your login or purchased materials; use the contact form to send abusive, unlawful, or unsolicited material; or scrape content at a volume that degrades service for others. We may restrict access where we reasonably believe misuse has occurred.
The website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, Pareto Education excludes liability for loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that is non-excludable for consumers under applicable UK consumer protection law.
You may stop using the website at any time. We may suspend or withdraw access to all or part of the website or a member account for operational, security, or legal reasons, without notice where reasonably necessary. You can ask us to close your account at any time; see our privacy policy for how records are handled.
We may update these terms as the website and our services change. The last updated date above shows when we last reviewed them. Continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms or your use of the website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where consumer protection law gives you a right to bring proceedings in your local jurisdiction.
