If you’ve been joining us at CPD @ 7, you might have noticed a few new names appearing on our webinar calendar.

Charlie’s got chest pain. Peter’s got palpitations. Harriet’s got hypertension.

So... who exactly are Charlie, Peter and Harriet?

They’re part of something new.

Over the past few months, hundreds of clinicians have tuned in to our free CPD @ 7 webinars each week. Our newsletter, social media channels and WhatsApp community have continued to grow, and the feedback from our previous “Tough Presentations” series told us one thing very clearly:

You wanted more.

More cases. Trickier scenarios. More interpretation. More of the clinical grey areas that don’t always fit neatly into a textbook.

So we looked at CPD @ 7 and asked ourselves:

How do we take it to the next level?

Meet the new CPD @ 7

We’ve completely redesigned the way our webinars work.

We’re keeping our first-principles approach to clinical medicine, but this time we’re building our teaching around the patient presentation.

Each webinar will take you through clinical cases from presentation to diagnosis and management. Along the way, we’ll tackle borderline diagnoses, investigation and results interpretation, clinical decision-making, and both classic and newer approaches to management.

The idea is simple: rather than just teaching you about a condition, we want to put you in front of the patient and ask:

What would you do next?

Our cases will develop as the webinar progresses, allowing us to introduce important clinical concepts while tackling the difficult decisions clinicians face in everyday practice.

And we’re bringing in the specialists...

There’s another big change coming to CPD @ 7.

Over the next few months, we’ll be joined by a series of special guest clinicians to tackle some of the tougher presentations we encounter in practice.

Advanced asthma. Resistant hypertension. Peripheral neuropathies. Ear pain. Headaches.

And that’s just the start.

These sessions will be delivered by clinicians with specialist expertise in their fields, sharing the practical insights, clinical pearls and approaches they use in their own practice.

You’ll also have the opportunity to put your questions directly to our speakers and get their thoughts on the clinical problems you encounter.

Same time. Completely new approach.

We’re trying something different with CPD @ 7.

More cases. More clinical reasoning. More difficult decisions. More specialist insight.

But still built around the same principle that has always underpinned our teaching:

Making difficult clinical medicine easier to understand and easier to apply.

We’re incredibly excited about what we have planned.
